Cheese in Pollenzo
As in past editions, the Banca del Vino in Pollenzo will be once again opening its doors to Cheese visitors. During the duration of the event, the prestigious wine museum will be open every day from 10 am to 8 pm. Visitors can follow a three-stop itinerary that runs from the north to the south of Italy, tasting some of the country’s most representative wines and cheeses along the way.
On Friday, Saturday and Monday, the tasting room will be hosting three Taste Workshops. Two focus on wine, with cheeses as the guest of honor, while the third explores the unusual pairing of cheese and extra-virgin olive oil.
The Banca del Vino is a unique enological showcase. This 2000-square-meter center for storing and aging the best wines of Italy is also a museum of Italian wine, where, glass in hand, visitors can explore the enological landscape of the country, region by region, tasting the wines that represent its history and terroir. The museum is open year-round and tasting courses, events and themed workshops are organized regularly.
